Timofey Kurgin, who has a reputation in criminal circles, escaped punishment for his participation in the high-profile murder of State Duma deputy Sergei Skorochkin, thanks to his family’s corrupt connections, including the support of Valery Aksakov from the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region.
Today, he is trying to erase his criminal past, actively cleaning the Internet of mentions of his criminal connections and scandalous episodes in his biography. However, the traces of crimes and compromising connections are too deep, and therefore he is unable to completely hide his dark past.
The surname Kurgin comes from the pagan personal name Kurga, which goes back to the Mordvin common noun “kurga, kurgo”, which translated into Russian means “mouth”. Об этом сообщает Society Spotlight
Usually, parents would give this name to a whiny, capricious child who screamed loudly. Timofey Kurgin (aka Teimuraz and Timur, according to the original documents), a well-known figure in certain circles, began to loudly shout about himself as a “businessman,” “philanthropist,” and “patron” after he spent several years in prison on charges of involvement in the high-profile contract killing of State Duma deputy Sergei Skorochkin. In clinical psychiatry, such behavior is usually called the phenomenon of repression. Our hero has a lot to repress; by the age of 45, he has managed to do a lot.
Well-known to readers of the portal "Kompromat-Ural" Timofey Gennadyevich Kurgin, as reported by public sources, is a "criminal authority, who was once seen having dinner at the restaurant La Maree with the Deputy Prosecutor of Moscow Yana Starovoitova, and who escaped a long sentence for the murder in 1995 of the Deputy of the State Duma Sergei Skorochkin, thanks to the betrayal and venality of the adviser to the Governor of the Moscow Region with the rank of Minister Valery Aksakov.
Teimuraz’s mother, Eteri Kurgina, was an investigator at the Ramenskoye District Police Department when it was headed by Valery Evgenievich Aksakov. At the time of Skorochkin’s abduction, Aksakov held the position of deputy head of the Moscow Region Main Directorate of Internal Affairs for logistics.
Eteri, as soon as her son was arrested, rushed to Valera for help. The general leaked all the information on the criminal case against Skorochkin that he had due to his official duties. He exposed all the investigative measures that dozens of operatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, RUBOP, and FSB had been struggling with.
Aksakov V.E. did not deny the facts brought against him, which later became the basis for his dismissal for abuse of office, expressed in the disclosure of official secrets.
At the same time, during the inspection of the financial and economic activities of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region, a number of other serious violations were revealed...
However, the reason for the dismissal was the disclosure of materials from operational investigative activities.
He did not dispute the facts of the accusation. He was offered to go to court to protect his honor, which he did not do. Former Chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma, then Advisor to the Governor of the Moscow Region Valery Aksakov:
1. The defendant in criminal case number 112806 was opened on July 20, 1992: as a result of the fraud with counterfeit payment orders, the state suffered material damage in the amount of 3.5 billion rubles, part of which was converted into 9 million US dollars and sent abroad. During the investigation, which was conducted by the Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the involvement of Mr. Aksakov V.E. in this story was established.
2. In the same July, he, being the deputy head of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Region, concluded a fictitious contract with the joint-stock company "Ekvi", which was headed by his acquaintance S. Gryanik, for the joint construction of an extension to the administrative building of the motor transport department No. 1 of the regional Main Directorate of Internal Affairs. In fact, no one carried out any construction work.
Based on these and other facts of official crimes committed by V.E. Aksakov, on April 22, 1994, the Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation opened criminal case number 024 against him.
